So apparently "Outback Dreams" by Rachael Johns isn't coming up on the system. The US Amazon link is http://www.amazon.com/Outback-Dreams-Rachael-Johns-ebook/dp/B00E54CR3U

Rachael Johns writes emotional, truly Australian romances. I always think this is deeply unfair -- Rachael's a friend -- because she admits she seldom cries at movies or reading books, whereas she has me reaching for tissues when I read her books. "Outback Dreams" is no exception.

Faith is a wonderful heroine. Capable but lonely, looking to change her life. Sharing her journey is a pleasure. And Monty is a great hero (I struggled for a little bit with him, because to me Monty is a dog's name -- no one call their hero Toby, that's my dog's name!). A key theme in the story is the impact of caring for an autistic family member -- this isn't shown so much onscreen, as in its implications and consequences. Caring for a family member can cause a lot of conflict in other relationships and Rachael handles the issues sensitively.

A friends to lovers story that is a great escape to rural Australia and a celebration of ties of love and community.
