At the beginning of the year, I signed up to the Australian Women Writers Challenge and added the promise that I'd read more reviews from it. Well, so far, that's been an epic failure. Today, in the hope of catching up a bit, here are three reviews I enjoyed.
Sam Still Reading reviewed Tongue in Chic by Kirstie Clements. Fun review. I too can be hooked by a gossipy insider view of worlds foreign to me.
Carpe Librum reviewed Burial Rites by Hannah Kent. It sounds compelling, an historical with a bleak, vivid setting and stark drama.
Katie Keys reviewed The Fine Colour of Rust by P A O'Reilly. I reviewed this a couple of years ago. Wonderfully Australian in its setting and characters. My review.
