Masques - Patricia Briggs
Masques was like a trip back in time to old favourites of the fantasy-with-female-lead from the '80s and early '90s, which is reasonable since this is a revised version of an earlier book. It felt like Patricia Wrede crossed with Robin McKinley and Barbara Hambly. Lots and lots of ideas (and fantasy cliches--I like cliches, though).

A comfort-read fantasy adventure and I'm really looking forward to the sequel, Wolfsbane.
