I'd been waiting ages for "Hawke's story". It was good. I love the balance between the romance at the centre of the story and the plot arc of the whole series. This is definitely a series where it pays to start at the beginning.
Just quietly, though, I think Walker almost stole me away from Hawke. There's something about the power of a reserved, loyal man.
