I enjoyed "The Dragon Conspiracy" more than I did "The Grendel Affair" that started the series. It felt as if Lisa Shearin settled in to enjoy the New York she's created, peopled with all sorts of faerie and mythological beings.
I can't say too much about one of my favourite aspects of "The Dragon Conspiracy" or it'll spoil things for you. But if you read Lisa's books, you'll love it *wink*
Okay. I can say that the style here is charming, the incidents both exciting and amusing, and the whole thing has a nice pace.
Great reading, any time.
