Yesterday I stole ten minutes out of a superduper busy (but not writing or reading, alas) day to simply sit on the beach and watch the waves roll in. It was cold, grey and blustery -- and it was so nice. My shoulders had been high enough to touch my ears (slight exaggeration), but I slowly relaxed and breathed deep. Lovely.
The lesson from this is -- EVERYONE needs to buy my books so that I can afford to live by the sea (camping on the beach being illegal). Plan B is that I win Lotto, but for that I have to buy a ticket ;)
Sometimes it's good to be reminded of our dreams.
And speaking of good things, I'm WAITING for "Burn For Me" by Ilona Andrews to come out at the end of the month. I love her writing. It's like cosy adventure with romance.
