Review
I thought the cover -- though visually dramatic and appealing -- slightly mis-sold the story. It suggested to me a romantic suspense. I would say "Rescue Heat" is more like a Medical Romance with the best ever setting and action. Loved it!
Think North Queensland, a hero who is so strong he makes your mouth water (mixing metaphors!) and a heroine who is also unashamedly strong. Brigid will call anyone on anything. Both characters are the perfect mix of vulnerability and strength, and when they get together...wow!
This is a wonderful beach read -- or alternatively, if you're in the middle of winter, Rescue Heat will warm you up fast!
